Does it required to install any program on the user's workstation?
Only Internet Explorer, version 5.0 and higher is required to be installed on
the user's workstation. Workstation must be connected to the network, or to
internet in some configurations.

We have approved Log Record Form. Is it possible to use this format
to generate the Log Record?
User can generate unlimited number of Custom Log forms. No application
customization is required. The following fields can be included in the
custom log form:
- Text field
- Value field
- Drop Down list
- Date and Time field
- Radio Button selection field

We cannot install the workstations in our Clean Room. Is it any
solution to record data and events from there?
Data and Event record can be entered in the Electronic Log Book
application using the Personal Data Assistance (PDA) device.
Some of the PDA devices can be sanitized and they are excellent solution for
use in the clean rooms.
However, the wireless network infrastructure is required for this operation.

We do not have network wiring in the service area and it is
impossible to organize wireless infrastructure there. Is it any solution to
record data and events from the service area?
Electronic Log Book application has the Tablet PC version. Data and Event
records can be entered, while Tablet PC is not connected to the network.
Prior and after data collection Tablet PC shall be connected to the network
for data synchronization with the server. Data entry can be achieved by
using the device popup keyboard or be handwritten with the Tablet PC pen.

Is it possible to record different properties for various types of
equipment (i.e. Windows Server and Steam Sterilizer)?
Electronic Log Book application utilizes flexible inventory model.
Specific properties can be assigned to each inventory class, as well to each
individual piece of equipment.

I have to enter many similar inventory items in the system. Is it
any solution to speed up the entry process?
User can "Clone" the inventory items. It means that new Inventory Item
(clone) will be created and all properties will be inherited from the
prototype item, including the Log Books Setup. Log Book records, Unique
Identification Number and Serial Number will be not copied and have to be
entered prior to the clone is saved. Any parameters of inventory item (for
instance: Location) can be also changed if necessary.

We use third party software packages to manage our equipment
inventory. Is it possible to utilize this data in the Electronic Log Book
application?
